President & CEO of Hicks Techniques

Michelle Hicks has served in the field of education for over a decade ranging from teacher to administrator. Mrs. Hicks, holds a Bachelors degree from Purdue University with concentration in early literacy. She also has a Master of Education degree from National Louis University, in Chicago, IL.

With a passion for teaching, Mrs. Hicks transitioned from her administrative role back to the classroom. As a current educator and mother of two, she beams with the awareness that through skillful instruction all children have the ability to succeed. Mrs. Hicks’ goal is to bridge school and home while nurturing life long successful readers. Mrs. Hicks blends her knowledge of reading instruction with her awareness of the practical demands of home. She has fostered early reading results for her students and her children. Mrs. Hicks assures that with Hicks Techniques children will learn how to read in a way that strengthens phonics, word knowledge, and reading comprehension.

Myron Hicks

Vice President & Head of Technology
Myron, an experienced software professional, utilizes his leadership, managerial, and architectural knowledge to manage and implement cutting-edge technology and innovation strategies. Myron is a creator website and applications for both Google and iOS platforms. He has developed and maintained the technology domains of GE, the U.S. Federal Reserve Bank, and local e-commerce businesses. Myron has participated in designing, coding, unit testing, debugging, and documenting solutions for Hicks Techniques systems. Myron is dedicated to serving Hicks Techniques technology needs.

Alexis Whitman

Vice President of Operations & Business Development
Alexis brings to Hicks Techniques a passion for developing people and leading organizations through change. She has spent nearly twenty years working in the Business Process Outsourcing and SaaS industries. She has helped many Fortune 500 companies in various capacities from customer operations management to sales leadership and project management to training & development. Her global experience includes managing labor partners and clients based in Latin America & the Caribbean, Canada, Asia, Africa, and Europe. She studied political science with an emphasis on public administration at Fisk University. You can usually find her with either a book (action thriller) or racquet in her hand. Tennis anyone? Alexis’ mother taught her and her sister to read prior to Kindergarten so she knows the value of empowering all people with a love of reading.
